Expert researchers from McMaster University, the University of Toronto, McGill University and an international team of collaborators examined the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the long-term care (LTC) sector in Ontario, Quebec and the Netherlands.
Their findings are available in Long-Term Care in Crisis: The Reality of COVID-19 (2022), a special edition of Healthcare Policy from Longwoods Publishing. The nine manuscripts in this edition focus on various aspects of LTC, and the authors propose evidence-based policy options for improving the LTC sector and outcomes for residents.
